David Cartwright

Account Executive and Consutlant

About David Cartwright

David is passionate about balancing a whole-person approach to life and is particularly interested in helping people discover ways of doing things that are workable for them.  For David, the PEP approach is a significant part of that and he enjoys sharing these ideas with others.

David’s career has led him into the corporate, academic and health sectors. He started out as an electronics engineer, doing oil and gas exploration in Africa and the Middle East. He then read for a PhD focused in technology-supported learning, which took him into the field of educational psychology and thinking skills. David then began to learn mindfulness skills and yoga, which he has now been practising for 15 years.

After migrating to New Zealand David lectured in usability and interface design at AUT. Following this he became involved in corporate sector research into the values-based cultures of high-performing organisations.

David has trained as a counsellor and facilitator specialising in communication and relationship skills. The PEP training is a very practical application of all these areas of interest.

David Cartwright's view on PEP

"PEP is powerful in its simplicity. The immediate results people create are exciting to be part of, but it is also a shift in approach that can be continually applied and refined.

"I love working with people to help them get clarity and insight into their ways of thinking and doing. They can then translate this insight into new actions and habits that make a real difference in their lives. PEP provides so much know-how for doing this."
