Simon Nicholls

Nicolas West

Managing Partner – Australian Corporate

Nicolas has been an active contributor to corporate Australia across a number of senior roles and industry verticals. These roles have been focussed on the development and management of national teams. In particular the operationalising of strategic objectives into commercial outcomes. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role as Managing Partner. 

Prior to joining PEP, Nicolas was Group National Development Manager for Franklyn Scholar from Nov 2008 – 2013 and Director of Education Services for UXC Pty Ltd.  from 2003 – 2008.  Both roles required incorporation of operational objectives, strategic objectives, and product development, whilst leading national teams to consistently deliver excellence to key clients within government, corporate, companies and industry associations.

Gail Phillips

Program Coordinator

Gail has been the Program Coordinator with the Sydney office since 1995, and enjoys being directly in contact with the positive feedback PEP receives from clients. In her busy role Gail has seen the global expansion of PEPworldwide.

In her early career Gail worked at IBM Australia in their Office Products Division as a trainer for 5 years. Prior to joining PEPworldwide she worked at Computer Associates in their software distribution area.

Jocelyn McCourt

Marketing Assistant

Jocelyn’s role at PEPworldwide is to analyse statistical data and compile reports using completed surveys and feedback from participants both before and after they've completed PEP.   Working to produce a critical part of the PEP offering, Jocelyn constantly sees first hand how life changing PEP is, not just for people at their place of work, but also for the benefits seen in their personal life. 

An observation that Jocelyn notices regularly in feedback is when asked if participants could tell us who they think would benefit from PEP, an overwhelming number of participants write 'everyone!'

Suzanne Salter


Having joined PEPworldwide in November 2012, Suzanne brings to her role 17 years’ experience of building businesses in complex environments in the Australian and European Banking sectors.

Both a leader and a manger, Suzanne understands all too well the difficulty of managing conflicting priorities all within a tight deadline with multiple, non-aligned stakeholders.

Educated in the US, France and Australia, she brings a world of experience and a true desire to help people get on top of their workloads.

Suzanne is also currently completing her Masters in the Psychology of Coaching at the University of Sydney.

Tony Sloman

Business Partner

Tony started his career as a computer programmer for a boutique software design company and then worked for AMP as a Business Analyst.

Following a passion for the performing arts, Tony moved to London to train at one of the foremost drama schools in the world. After graduating he worked in theatre, film, television and radio, travelling to various countries, working with renowned directors and artists.

Upon returning to Australia in 1997, Tony commenced a career as a facilitator which solidified his interest in developing people. Tony facilitated time management seminars, corporate entertainment, communication skills workshops and he trained technology businesses across NSW on how to use financial leasing.

Tony has 14 years’ experience as a Business Development/Relationship Manager. He worked in learning and development and financial services for companies such as Macquarie Bank. He has managed stakeholders in many of Australia’s largest corporations, as well as government, the education sector and small to medium enterprise.

Tony is also trained and experienced as an executive coach.

Bev Lange

A highly experienced consultant, senior executive and company director, Bev Lange is a recognised leader, influencer, and innovator, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Meg has worked internationally as an organisational psychologist and executive coach delivering programs in personal leadership, culture change and cross-cultural team effectiveness for over 20 years. She has been delivering PEP in Australia since 2005 in a wide variety of business and government organisations and has found PEP’s coaching-based methodology the most effective way to help people consistently achieve their best performance in their work.

Lois McLachlan

Senior Consultant

Lois previously worked in corporate finance for 20 years, holding senior management positions including CFO for Nike Australia and Project Leader for Hewlett-Packard Financial Services. Her business experience has been wide ranging, covering finance, administration, legal & marketing.

Lois has facilitated PEP in its various formats since 2005 for a large number of private and public companies in a wide range of industries, and in the public sector. She works comfortably with people at all levels within these organisations.

Jane Anderson


Jane has been involved with PEPworldwide since early 2010, and currently facilitates PEP for both private and public sector organisations.

Jane has over 18 years management experience in both private and public sectors and 10 years’ experience as a trainer, coach and facilitator. 

Jane is a PCC (Professionally Certified Coach with the ICF) and her work has been featured in national publications and television. She has delivered training and executive coaching at all levels from senior executives to frontline staff and has lead sales, learning and development, recruitment, human resource and operations teams. She is warm, friendly and builds rapport with people quickly to be able to get results fast.

Ronita Neal

Prior to joining PEP Ronita has worked for 25 years in many different settings including Commonwealth and State Public Service, the private sector, Higher Education sector, and the Health sector. She has coached people in a range of positions across these areas, and is familiar with the range of challenges that can arise in the course of daily work.

She has also delivered training to a diverse range of people including long term unemployed, business owners, and post-graduate university students. She is a qualified psychologist (working with a coaching approach) and member of two professional coaching organisations.

Ronita’s focus for her work is to “change people’s lives”. She enjoys working with people, providing support and encouragement as they work towards reaching their full potential.

Annie is a Leadership and Personal Development Specialist with over 2 decades of experience, working primarily within different sectors of Consumer Services Industry.  During this time she has amassed a wide range of skills and knowledge which she now draws upon to support Managers, their teams and individuals achieve their personal goals and professional objectives.

Annie has extensive expertise in the design and delivery of management, team and customer service development programmes.    At the core of her experience is 14 years with Steinhoff Asia Pacific Ltd, where she spent 8 years as the Learning and Development Manager for Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.  Her key achievements have been built upon empowering and developing highly performing individuals and teams.  She bases her success on a combination of clear, strategic thinking and considered insightful people skills.

Tim D'Arcy

Group Manager Government Services

Tim has delivered PEP and execPEP for more than 13 years and has over 20 thousand of hours experience coaching people to work better, mostly in the public sector.

During his time at PEP Tim has been involved with people in all roles and levels throughout different organisations.  In recent times most of his work is now focused on working directly with senior managers and leaders helping them to be more productive.

As Group Manager Government Services Tim is responsible for the quality of both the program and the facilitators who deliver it across Australia and New Zealand.

Jane McCallum

Account Executive

Jane has been with PEPworldwide since 1999. Her considerable experience in coach education, trainer and teacher development, plus designing and delivering a wide variety of courses and programs provides an ideal background for PEP.

She is an accomplished, energetic and personable PEP facilitator and coach who delights in helping individuals, teams and senior executive staff improve their work habits, work organisation and effectiveness.

In 2004 Jane gained international PEP experience by heading up the sales, marketing and delivery effort in British Columbia.

In 2011 Jane was one of the recipients of the Tony D'Arcy Exceptional Performer Award within PEPworldwide Australia and NZ, in recognition of her commitment to 'go above and beyond' in supporting each PEP participant maximise the benefits they achieve from the PEP experience.

Fiona Oliver

Executive Consultant and Account Executive

Fiona has been working with PEPworldwide in the Government Services office in Canberra since 2002, but her personal experience with the Personal Efficiency Program began back in 1997 when she held a senior role at RMIT University. After reading Kerry Gleeson's The Personal Efficiency Program she implemented the PEP principles and finally gained mastery over her in-box and the mountains of paper that passed over her desk.

"I've never looked back since that time. Application of the PEP principles transformed my own working life and every time I coach a senior executive or a participant in one of our programs, I see the PEP principles having the same positive impact."

Fiona has extensive management and leadership experience and, in addition to her public sector career, worked for 10 years as a management consultant working with both public and private sector organisations in the fields of quality and change management, strategic, business and team planning, organisational self-assessment and performance reporting systems, organisational surveys, statistical analyses and research, design and delivery of workplace training programs and small and large group facilitations with staff at all levels of seniority.

Janice Seary


"Everyone says we should work smarter not harder. What does that mean?” That was the question Janice had before she discovered PEP.  She now feels PEP has opened her eyes to the importance of planning and being proactive and how to DO IT!  I want to share that with others.  She has personally seen the difference it has made for clients, both professionally and personally.

Janice joined the Canberra team in 2011. She has a professional background in Education, with experience in the formative primary school years through to senior secondary years, where Vocational Education is a key focus for young people.

Client Services Manager

Martine started with PEPworldwide in October 2012 and brings with her 20 years of experience in business management, office and personnel organisation, well honed client service skills and a personal interest in good work practice and time management.

At 23, Martine started and managed her own business for many years before embarking on a career in the travel industry. Progressing quickly to become the Group Travel Manager, she was responsible for client management, the design and travel logistics of complex group travel itineraries and ensuring a premium product was delivered to each and every client.

Client satisfaction is Martine’s passion and fulfilling the needs of our PEPworldwide clients is Martine’s primary focus. Teamed with the proven success of the PEP training principles the role of Client Services Manager is a perfect fit for her new career.

Ian brings to PEP 15 years experience as a business leader and senior manager in the Hobart based software company Myriax Pty Ltd, which he founded with two colleagues in 1995.  Ian drove the company's focus on quality communication, exceptional service, and excellence to build an export business with worldwide markets.

Ian has utilised training and coaching throughout his career to expand what he thought possible and to expand his capacity to perform and lead.

Margarett Noakes


Margarett has an extensive background in Education working with clients from preschool to university in every role from classroom Teacher to Principal and Education Consultant. She has facilitated students, parents and colleagues in both the public and private domain including working for the Australian Academy of Science developing Science Education resources for Primary Schools and teacher training. In addition to this, she has worked in a variety of roles in the Canberra Community including project management development of artwork, business administration, and event planning.

After experiencing the PEP program, Margarett appreciates the opportunity to share with others the feeling of satisfaction and work-life balance that PEP encourages. After many years spent working in Education Margarett looks forward to sharing the PEP experience with participants so that they too can benefit from all that PEP has to offer.

Prior to joining PEPworldwide, Gaye held roles as: Deputy CEO and Business Operations Manager for the largest aged care provider in the ACT responsible for the financial and operational functions; Corporate Manager with two major national peak body groups in the ACT responsible for the finance and administration functions, reporting directly to the organisations’ Boards; Senior Tax Manager in a medium-size accounting practice and Registered Tax Agent.

Gaye’s passion for PEP is generated by the people who participate and embrace the PEP principles and consistently talk enthusiastically about the positive and life changing effect of that on their work-life and flow-on effect on their personal life.

Nicole Summerfield


Nicole joined PEPworldwide as a member of the Corporate Services Team in 2009.  She brings significant accounting and administration experience  gained since completing her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) in 2000. 

Nicole has held positions as a Client Manager and Senior Accountant  in several middle tier accounting firms  assisting her client base with advice,  monthly and quarterly internal management accounts as well as all the annual compliance reporting required by government.  Her clients ranged from individuals to SMEs operating businesses in a wide range of industry sectors.
